Dear Reader,
As we begin work on the 31st issue of Thin Air Magazine, I want to take a moment to welcome you into our growing community. This year presents us with a multitude of incredibly exciting opportunities. New faces, new stories, new opportunities to share good work and to reflect on our shared humanity. We, the executive board, and our staff are committed to creating a magazine that moves, inspires, comforts, and brings goodness into the world.

In my role as Managing Editor, I have committed to the serious and intense evaluation of Thin Air Magazine’s status as a just and ethical organization. I am pleased to report that there is a great deal of passion and commitment to a diverse and progressive publication amongst our leadership and staff. I also recognize the progress and improvements we have ahead of ourselves and am fervent in my dedication to facilitate this kind of growth.

Thin Air Magazine is undergoing a period of change and growth. It is my duty, and the duty of all our leadership, to ensure this change is for the better. With this issue’s theme of metamorphosis, we invite you to grow with us, and to share your story.
